Smash #1

Last month, my friend Joy and I got to go have a Girls' Day Out together.  We ended up at Archiver's because she's an avid (and extremely talented) scrapbooker (and it's an awesome store!).  Long story short, we ended up leaving the store with matching Smash Books and a challenge--to fill out a page spread a week.  Our challenge included only using supplies we had around (no buying stuff, otherwise Perfectionist Tendencies might surface--probably more Joy's than mine, though, since I have NO Perfectionist Tendencies) (that was sarcasm, in case you don't know me well), except for adhesives and printing/developing pictures.  That's it!  And it's been so FUN!

These books are awesome.  They're a little like a scrapbook that's been started for you, to give you ideas.  They even come with a pen/glue stick on the side in a cute little elastic loop, so it's all there for you.    Mine is like a journal, a scrapbook in the old-fashioned sense.  I have one place reserved for a picture so far, and that's it.  I'm sure there will be more, but for now, it's a lot of writing, drawing, taping/gluing in things.

Would you like to see the first page?  Would you like to see all my pages?  I'm going to post them on the blog, as a way to "blog" without having to Blog (aka Type and Insert Pictures).  Hope you don't mind/enjoy!

P.S.  Please remember that the two pages are meant to be side by side, but I just can't get 'em to be that way on the screen unless they're tiny!  Sorry!

P.P.S.  I know this page is a little cheesy.  Sorry.  Again.
