Cupcakes for Donations

We recently had a fundraiser for celiac disease.  It was supposed to be a party, where our friends came over and got to decorate and eat cupcakes, and people gave donations for celiac awareness.  Two of our old friends in California were extremely thoughtful and donated to our party, even though they wouldn't be able to have cupcakes!  I had to do something nice for them, to show how much it meant to our family that they were supporting this cause that's so important to us.  I came up with an idea for a thank you gift for our friends or family who were too far away to get homemade cupcakes from us--and ended up making them for everyone who donated.  They were just too cute and fun to make.

Cupcake wash/dishcloths!  I found the pattern here.  Aren't they cute?  I'm pretty sure I'll be making more for us!

I am so deeply thankful to have family and friends who are so caring, thoughtful, and giving.  Thanks again to everyone who donated.

I love mine and use it constantly! Everyone who sees it asks, "How the heck did she do that?" I always say, "I don't know, she's magic."
