Today we went to Moose Lake State Park to fish with Harry. It was a beautiful, cool day, with lots of pretty scenery, fish, and fun. Of course Brad and I forgot the camera!
While Brad and Harry helped the kids fish, I knit Danny's second sock. I almost finished the whole leg. It was very sad to not take a picture of the beautiful scenery and the weathered wood of the fishing pier with the sock! The colors were stunning together. Oh well. You'll have to imagine the brick red, forest green and terra-cotta colors of Danny's sock with the scenery you can see here instead! (You can click on the fishing pier to see what it looks like there.)
Now in addition to sunscreen and sand, the sock has a little fish slime on it (had to help the kids get the sunfish off the hooks). Good thing they'll be washed before I give 'em to Dan!
